treatsie artisan sweets review and $100 e-gift card giveaway!

Disclaimer: I was given a Treatsie box to review. All opinions are my own. Giveaway is sponsored by Treatsie.

Hi friends! Have you hopped on the subscription box bandwagon yet? They are super popular right now, and you can find boxes for everything from kids products to pet products to fresh produce, all delivered to your door monthly. I keep almost signing up for one, then worrying that I'll hate it and feel like I wasted my money. When I heard of Treatsie, though, I knew it was the perfect box for me! Seriously, it's a box full of artisan treats that arrives monthly with a variety of candies and desserts to try. What more could you ask for?

I'm a huge sucker for cute packaging, and theirs is awesome! I was super excited to dig in. My older daughter Abby was home when the box arrived, and when I turned my back on her for a minute to put the outer box in the recycling bin, she had already whipped out some scissors and was ready to go to town on the Treatsie box.

We couldn't wait to open the box and start sampling. The first thing I tried, and I think my favorite in the box, was these Hot Cakes Peanut Butter Bites. I can't even describe how good they are. They're like little crunchy peanut butter pellets dipped in chocolate and rolled in cocoa powder, and they are super addicting! I meant to only try a couple, and Abby and I ate almost the whole bag in just a few minutes.

My second favorite (and Geoff's #1 favorite) were these Grey Ghost Bakery lemon sugar cookies. They are soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, and have so much flavor! We ended up eating them with hot chocolate while watching a movie, and they were the perfect treat for a date night in.

Abby's favorite was the Hot Cakes Bling Bling. It's sort of like a Ding Dong, except super classy! :) The chocolate buttercream filling was super delicious.

I also got some Brix chocolate bars that are meant to be paired with wine. I think this is such a cool idea, but I couldn't give them the full taste test since I don't drink wine. The chocolate itself was delicious, though, so I imagine it would taste great as a pairing.

All in all, I was very impressed with my Treatsie box. Everything was delicious and high quality, and the packaging was adorable. The only thing I wished is that it came with more peanut butter bites (although, let's be honest, there's no such thing as enough of those peanut butter bites for me). I am definitely going to order another box so I can try out some more delicious treats!
